Twin Gun Data Plate...What Does It Fit On???

Hello,
I came across this cast brass data plate in the shop today. It is about 4 X 6 inches. Do any of you kow what type of gun it was off of? It is some type of twin gun mount. It may be US Navy??? On the back side it is stamped: 2416 C7 - 1 NP
