Located in Ontario Canada, asking price is $12,000... :rolleyes
Front armour has been cut down.
Appears to be a MK1.
Check Kijiji 1943 bren carrier for sale.
I wish I had a field full of these as I could retire....

chris vickery 03-12-11 22:46

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !

iam sure i could easily locate a 432 for you.... but would not wish one on you though... CVRT is the way forward Shaun Hindle has a fantastic one for sale at the minute personnel carrier... and because it could come over on a Roll on Roll off transporter postage would be half that required for a container.

anyways we digress a bit :)

this carrier does appear to have all the right bits for an easy restoration... wish mine had been as easy as this one hehehehe :bang:

this carrier is tantalisingly close to toronto too !

is it a mortar carrier ?

rob love 04-12-11 17:25

Yes, it will be amortar carrier. The 3 giveaways I can spot are the plugs over the battery box wire holes on the back armour, the bracket for the starting crank on the top of the back armour, and the rivets in place of the rifle clip on the right side engine cover front shielding.

It needs a little work on the upper front armour, but all in all is properly priced considering what is out there these days. Mind you, just because it is running does not mean that the total restoration will be that much easier.
