This one looks like a Studebaker US6, grille is slightly wider than a GMC CCKW and bonnet front edge does not have as much curve as a GMC. Wings are also much like a Stude, except the vertical part seems to taper in towards the chassis towards the bottom.

The third one is two Kraz trucks, sometimes known as Belaz if I recall, the fourth pic looks like a Saurer, without checking.

'29 Pontiac

The first Picture is a 1933 Pontiac..
Look at the vertical trim in the Rad face center..and the curved lower window frames..look also at the louver location on the engine cowl...well to the back half of the cowling..a true measure of Pontiac styling..
Only Ford..Essex and Pontiac had that curved lower grill in those days./..Dodge ..Chev..International all had straight across lower window frames..
I may be wrong but see for yourself...

The fenders are different on the '32-'33 Pontiac but the grill and lower window frame are similar..
All the rest of the manufacturers started the curved lower window frame in the mid -1934 -'37 years.
Ford Pontiac and Essex were the style leaders.

Could be a 1929 GMC T-19 1-ton with the Pontiac 6-29 engine then? Note the double-wheel rear axle that someone has added from another vehicle. Assembled by GM India, Bombay? I assume that the small T-11 and T-19 used the Pontiac front end...the heavier trucks used the Buick engine (both versions) of course. Well spotted! The reason I suggest Pontiac is that I think the 1927-29 Pontiac trucks were sold as GMCs but there has been discussion on the Canadian poncho Forum about whether they were badged as Pontiacs or not. My Branham's Guide should say if I can find it.

The fenders look different on the '29 and the others years on up ..I suspect the fenders may be from a later model but the rest is definitely Pontiac..Probably that mixed breed is a basic '29 Pontiac..
I don't think it was the 1929 GMC T-19 1-ton..The cowling..curved lower window frame and grill are wrong..It is definitely Pontiac..

Sorry Dave ..Fargo..from 1954-'56 the cab and grill changed little.,..
This is a later one as it has the side window vent in it..probably a '55 or '56 Fargo..probably Canadian built.

The red tanker is that '29 Pontiac with the vertical center grill strip..the rounded lower windshield frame and the rear quarter cowling louvers.the most distinctive identifier on the '29 Pontiac :drunk:

The first picture is a '31 Chev...with later..maybe '34 Chev headlights..but look at the bottom windshield..flat..and the side louvers in the engine bonnet..

pic no. 136, to the right of the Autocar is a Ashok Leyland with bus body. These were built in India.

on the left is a early Sixties Bedford CA, complete with AA badge on the grille, possibly left behind by overland travellers from the UK?

What do you make of the others in 187 next to the CA? Is that a Dodge then an odd-lookiong forward control, then a 1941-6 Chevy?
