Disease sickness or plain silly?

Hello there,
I recall someone saying this olive drab fever can be a bit of a bugger to get out of, we now have a new addition. It's last resting place was as a garden ornament in the front of somebody's house. I believe that it was an ex ambo f 30 with about 5500 miles on speedo, hopefully the number (ARN) means something to someone (any info much appreciated), It worked out good as I was looking for f30 or f60s as it would suit my needs better than the f15a. It shall live on in the chassis, floor plates, both diffs and 2 speed transfer and numerous other odds and ends. The nose is pretty buggered but bonnet is ok, should be able to see in pics if any one wants it come grab it
thanks Cameron :thup2:

Ambulance

Certainly looks like you've acquired the remains of a Ford ambulance, Cameron. Well done!
That's a very late ARN too. At least what's left of the running gear should be in good condition.
I note from my records this vehicle was for sale on Ebay, located in Bendigo in January 2008.
A nearby ARN, 162581 belongs to a F60S tipper.

If you wanted to restore it as an ambulance I have the skeleton of the rear body

To answer your first question, yes it is a sickness, it never gets any better and you need permanent medication. I suggest you see ebay, take 2 blitzs items of your choice, and pay for them in the morning. :)

Nice wheels/tyres by the way on your F30.

thanks for the info, it's seen a little of the country side in the last couple of years then hasn't it. Supposedly the feller that I got it from was the second owner outside of the service, apparently was brought about '50 surplus by the first owner.

thanks for the option, shall keep it in mind. The theory with the 134"w/base is we have also got a jeep and should be able to make a tray that he should fit nicely onto, so we can tootle about camping and that and still take the 2.

Ebay, that's another worry, so many goodies so little money, now that were into summer and my tree has had a super good watering(best in the last 10yrs) with a little sunshine it should really come to life, might have to go on ebay to buy a wheelbarra to put all the notes in. :thup2: then recheck the blitz shopping list :bang:
regards Cameron
