RCAF Fire Truck
 

Hi I am looking for information and manuals for a friend of mine who has a 1957 FWD fire truck. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I have the all the numbers off the data plate. The truck only has 12000 miles on it and he is hoping to restore it.

You can try looking under the web site for the Society for Preservation and Appretiation of Motorized Fire Apparatus of America (SPAAMFAA). They usually have all kinds of items for sale and you may find a manual there.

Post a pic of the data plate on SteelSoldiers.com , they have a thread devoted to Military Fire Trucks, and that would include any truck that served on a base. They may be able to help.

Here is the information on the data plates from the truck, next time I go to my friends house I will take camera and get some pictures and post them.
