Yet another M3 scout car on ebay
Been quite a few of these lately. This one has the rear armour intact....but not much else.

Diff/Rims
Anyone know if that's the correct rear diff? Looks a bit like a Ford Bren Carrier diff. What about the rims? Skate rail's missing. Shev made a previous comment I think that the rail holds the rear armour together?

Certainly not the right rear diff. The correct axle has the brake drums set well clear of the rear wheels, not hard up as you see here. The axle ends do not protrude out through the wheels either.
Having said that, this is a good one to grab to restore. Regards Rick. |
