In the middle of nowhere, nice eh?

Doug,
Now that we know that Dirk can sell at least one of us the bakelite panel, do you have any ideas where the switches might be found? I can't remember ever having seen them (except in the C5 panel, and not many there). Grant

Grant,
That was my next question to ask? It is great to find a start, will there be any parts to complete the board is the question. I would like to find a complete board, but if not, then the parts hunt?

So Barry, are you telling me that if I drive a km or so outside the middle of nowhere I'll find the guts of the switch panel Dirk is selling?
More seriously, would you mind if I stop on the way back from Acton on March 20 to take measurements, templates or photos of your yellow 20cwt GS trailer frame? If you are available, is a guided tour of the Castleton CMP museum possible?

I may not be in the exact middle of nowhere but I'm sure I can see it from here, and that's just the way I like it!
By the way, I'm looking for a charging board C5 too. I have lots of stuff to choose from if a trade could be arranged too.

Barry Churcher 07-02-10 01:29

Grant, you are more than welcome to stop by anytime and take any measurements or photos you need. The coffee is always on and sometimes you can even find the odd beer. :D
Cheers,
Barry
