Question on Dutch CMP parts dealer

Hi there!
Well i'm just asking as regards to purchasing parts from LWD parts. I known of several people who have given up in frustration trying to get parts from him.
Is he still tradeing?
Does he infact sell anything?
Does he not like to sell to us in Australia?

I have been trying to get some feed back about purchasing some parts for over a month with a follow email sent as well so have resorted to seeing if any one here knows what the go is?

He has a interesting well set up web site... but all it does is tease! :bang:

thanks Maurice!

I wish I could use that way of getting parts too but i think its a tad too far to drive. May be he will get intouch and I will be able to get some parts off him.

That's Dirk

Dirk L is well thought of (usually ... :p) and contributes on here.

Like a load of other dealers he always seems very busy running about the place, so it might just be reluctance to sit still long enough to post you that awkward item.

I'd keep at it, and be aware that many other dealers suffer from the same thing.

Jill and I cold called on Dirk at his home last June. He dropped everything at work and came home to see us. I explored his vast storage sheds and found CMP parts that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
I then met him again at W&P. Beltring and he was trading there.
Please remember that like a lot of us, Dirk is a person with a job to do. The CMP spares side is a part time exercise. I'm sure that you will be able to complete your dealings eventually to mutual satisfaction.
Regards Rick

Phil,

Being based in Australia, it is of course neigh impossible for you to look him up at his place or at a trade show / swap meet.

Next best bet is to call him! Keep trying, during winter time he usually has more time than during summer.

Or you could set up intricate international parts transfer using Dutch, Australian and Swiss resources :D :D

LWD parts

I have been fortunate to get a few obscure CMP things I needed from Dirk in the past, but I must say he is a bit slow to answer his e-mail. Still waiting on a query from a few weeks ago, but I know he is busy, so I'm not going to pester him. I would be nice if he could set up online purchasing with PayPal or similar, though.
