As the moderator for the Ammunition Packaging and Containers on BOCN I would also like to have these pics as they are missing from the database :)

The box in question is C.274 I, 36" long, 15" wide and 8.8" deep. It held 2 rounds

If you contact me by PM I'll try to help you resolve your registration problem.

Clive many many thanks for your impressive reply to my question...the boxes I have came from a train which had been parked up in a siding somewhere and just forgot about....labels in the boxes indicate they had been used by Polish troops who where being sent home to Poland by ship after the war...however the story is that the ship sank and all contents that where salvaged where stored in the old train....enlosed I hope are the pictures of same best regards malcolm
