Early Ram Kangaroo in NWE in 1945
I have recently received "Cromwell & Centaur" by Ian Carter.
On page 25 there is a picture of a 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards Cromwell but in the centre and background of the photo is a Ram Kangaroo with the hull side door. The caption places the Ram in Weseke supporting 9th Durham Light Infantry and dates the photo as 29th March 1945. I was surprised that this early model were still in use that late in the war. IWM reference is BU 2823 Any thoughts? Bill? Anyone? Cheers Kevin |
Kevin,
I've been trying to find a seller of that book in the UK, where can I find a copy? Adrian |
