CMPs for the faithful
Here is a nice shot of a CMP in ecclesiastic service. The writing on the body reads - Crusaders Cavalcade / The United Church of Canada. The photo is from 1944 Montreal.

CMP parts for the suddenly faithful
Then there's the "Jesus handle".... And the comments made by restorers as they overtorque an aged bolt and it breaks off in the casting.....And everyone's comment as they drop a complete axle almost on their toes.

WHEELS of this CMP
Hello
Very interressing truck . It is a CHEVROLET C60L but what kind of wheels it had; they seem not to be 20" as usualy on this kind of truck regards Serge |
There were an unknown number of C60L built with the lighter axles that normally go on a C15A and 16" wheels. They often showed up for ambulances. Quite a few of them (various body types) were labelled as being on contracts built for Australia, these often have very late delivery dates. At least a half dozen survive in East/Central Canada in various states of repair (Eastern Townships, Ottawa, Belleville, Orangeville, Sudbury)
