Richard

Although he lists it as a "Bren" Carrier it actually a one of a batch of 200 "Armoured M.G." Carriers, HMC65 to HMC264, T3716 to T3915.
(All from Nigels first book)

Disappearing links

That's the trouble with posting links instead of the actual images on a forum like this. The links tend to disappear in time and are no longer available for future reference.

cheers Hanno ;)

Hi Guys,
I see the Bren i was selling caused a bit on confusion, yes it was ordered as a Armoured M.G carrier in January 1938, this is all printed on the contract card from Bovington, but in June 1938 the wording "Armoured MG carrier" was crossed out and "Bren carrier " hand written over the top. It was later brought up to universal standard. The "T" number is T3851, i have now decided to finish the vehicle as i have funded one of my other projects by other means.

My Grandfather was in France in 1938/40 - North Africa - Holy lands - Madagascar-Italy and NW Europe all in carriers. i aim to have it assembled and on the road next year, the question is what colour scheame 1940 France or 1941 desert ?

Shaun

Desert all day long buddy, i will copy it on mine ;) there are loads of green carriers out there but few in the Italy colours or desert colours
