FGT No. 8 Specs Required

Hi all - looking for details, images, etc. re. the centre seats, especially the fittings, for a 1941 Cab 12 Gun Tractor. Moreso, if there are any live and original bodies out there, some images of that.

Bob There is a cab 12 quad Gun Tractor being restored here in Gympie. Grant Fincher knows it and has taken heaps of photos of it. It is the most complete Original one I have seen and there is a thread with photos here on MLU but I am not sure where. :)

Gympie Gun Tractor

Hi Cliff - I think this is the one requiring the information. Lloyd McCarthy contacted me for this information.

Yes that's the one I was thinking of. I'll look through what I have in the way of info for him as well. :thup2:

These are CGT pix but the seating should be the same.

FGT No8

The No8 was the 'butterbox' shape Aussie version - the one Lloyd has is the 7A2 Canadian. :teach:

The body is the same on Ford and Chev - they were built by Gottfriedson (sp?), an outside body specialist. It was based on the Guy Quad-Ant arty tractor body.

Will see what I can dig up.

Paucity of Information.

Hi all - I want to put this enquiry to bed, so is there any information out there?

Bob
