CMP Wildflower
 

This summer I came across this light CMP near an old logging camp in the crown land near where I live. Is this worth pulling out of the bush or should I just leave it be? There is no box on the truck, gas tank is in the bush.

If anyone wants pics just let me know I took a bunch

Anyone want to hazard an opinion if it is Ford or CHEV or what CMP it is?
Axel is too small to be 3 ton. It is about the size of a 1/2 ton

It's an 11 Cab C8 Chev. Is it worth rescueing? Depends on the costs due to the remoteness of the location, but it's most probably worth saving!

That is the ideal little body to slap the engine out of the Roadrunner into..
The frame ,the body and rod the rest of the running gear..
It would look cool at the Mil Meets..

I'm a purist..well worth saving..

Speaking as someone who thinks most CMPs should be rescued, I would say go for it. Years from now, you would regret having left it there for the scrappers or Mother Nature. :teach:

It looks like there are lots of good parts on it ... if nothing else, 11 and 12 cab doors, especially the driver's side, are scarce.

Keep us posted if you recover it.

With out a doubt worth saving :teach:
The c8 are one of the easier ones to get civilian parts (eg.the drivetrain and some chassis components)
The other parts are general cmp
definate bonus are both doors and the elusive wheel adapters
