Hi Simon,

All I can tell you is that it is a NATO Stock Number, the item is procured from British source, indicated by "-99-" part of number. it is a Transfer Gearbox. Another number comes up, could be the Manufacturers ref. no., it is BT232R7613.........

If it is the transfer box you had up on a forum recently, I am wonder if it might be Bedford TM 6x6.....it is a long time since I worked on one and have no reference material at hand, so this is a stab in the dark.

If you have access to the internet then you have access to the NSN databses. There are several good ones, but I personally like http://www.iso-parts.com/

This database actually gives me more access to other countries NSNs as well as obsolete NSNs than the Cdn Forces supply system does.

The descrition on your particular item does not go into any greater detail than that which Richard has given.

I am also getting J609.0010.2 which is a Glover Webb part no.

BT232R7613 is number from Rockwell SVI SA in France.
