Where are they now: Autocars?

I cant recall if i have put this issue up in the past but after a quick search am unable to find anything. It concerns a page in issue 27 of tracks and trucks in 1989 when on page 46 Bart put up in discoveries the find in Essex of a batch of Early Autocar tractors and a U2044 oil serving truck. to date i have not heard of a restoration on any or seen any photos of same, a Richard Jefferies purchased them from the Bristol area. As these items were mega rare can any member shed any light on the dissapearance of them.
cheers

I well remember reading about them, would be interesting to learn about their eventual fate!

More Than Autocars

The location just north of ROMFORD also had two HUMBER HEAVY UTILITES. a HUMBER AMBULANCE .HUMBER ARMORED CAR . The AMBULANCE was still in RAF blue With mounting rescue markings . I helped get the AMBULANCE & CAR out of the barn back in the late 70ts The AUTOCARS where still their .Some one had tried to use the tanker to spread lime but it did not work So they used one of the tractor units & trailer . The AMBULANCE & ARMORED CAR are preserved I Think the ARMORED CAR is in the RAF MUSEUM .And the AMBULANCE is in NORFOLK .T CORBIN
