A new innovation for restorers?
How much do you think this would cost to integrate into our CMP restorations?:rolleyes
|
I think you could make the whole car disappear with a FAT or C60X at your disposal :)
Great invention though. Better than Citroen's Pluriel, which you could turn into a convertable or pickup during your trip, but left you with two 2 meter long " bananas" and no space to put them. Alex |
But what does it add to the cost?
Don't let some of the safty types see this in the US they'll want to mandate it on all new cars.
Looks like an interesting idea but all I can think of is what happens with snow and ice. Or that minor accident that knocks the thing out of line. Glad you shared this I've already sent it to a couple of auto nuts who I'm sure will enjoy it. |
Keith,
It seems that most CMP's out there have disappearing doors. Just look at the as found photos on this site and OLDCMP.net Regards Rick |

Blitz doors
I once worked with a vet who was in transport.
He told me that they were instantly on report for putting a scratch on the "King's Truck" while training in Australia. He nearly fell in the water when their trucks were unloaded on the wharf in Port Morseby. When they drive onto the shore there was a solder on each side of the wharf with an oxy torch that blew off both doors at the hinges as they arrived. With the bloody driver still in his seat he added. |
