CGT with body 7A2
Hi everyone,
I have a question about my CGT of 1941 with a body 7A2. What kind of inside doorhandles I need for the entrance doors, type DND/1389 and DND/1390,used on 7A1 and 7A2 body's. - following the DND body parts list of october 1941,the LH and RH handles are different. RH handle part n° 9022 and LH handle part n°9023. - following SB-32 of october 1943,the LH and the RH handles are the same with part n° F/81A-702400A. If its possible,a picture of the types I need please. |

The door handles from Ford C101W-742350 and Chev 5800659 are maybe the same, or different ? Mvg. Dirk http://212.79.246.244/5800/home.nsf/Handle.jpg |
Get a hold of yourself.....
Bonjour all...
Seems that early Chebby cab 11 and 12 like mine had Ford handles ..... probably why the doors didn't close right. They are still available in the USA as reproduction models for the hot rod market...... the flashy chrome has to be sandblasted and painted but other wise don't look bad. Mac Auto in Niaguara Falls NY has them..... however Dirk has original NOS..... BooB |
Dirk,Bob,
Dirk, the door handle on your picture is an outside handle, but my question is about the INSIDE doorhandles ! |

CGT Cab 12 with body 7A2.
Hi,
A 25 PDR spare firing platform is normally stored on the roof of the CGT Cab 12 with body 7A2. It is hold down with 2 upper-and 2 rear locking mechanisms, with a fastening eyebolt,a clamp plate and an adjusting handle in the middle of the platform. The n°9 type firing platform I have has a non-removable center stud with nut and no center hole. Is it possible there was an earlier type of platform with a center hole only without stud ? Please more details about it ! cheers |
Dirk,
About the inside doorhandles, its perfect. I'll see you there on sunday the 11 th. cheers |

Herman,
The T.T.3 workshops were civilian workshops that worked for the military during the war. Don't know who number 60 could have been... Cheers, Jan |

Hi,
I am looking for more details about the upper part of the 2 entrance doors. The doors I have where modified with 1 stationary glass. A few hooks of metal plate, screwed on the frame of each door, are still available. Pictures of the different metal channels and the rubber channel for the sliding glass and the stationary glass are wanted. With this information, I can make the missing parts. cheers |
