Hassocks, United Kingdom

Hello All,

I am after a Glow Plug Controller for one of my project vehicles. Despite the seller's advertisement that it will freight to Australia once "Buy it Now" is clicked on the result is that it does not post to here!

I tried to contact the seller however they have not replied as yet.

Is there any one who lives at or nearby Hassocks, United Kingdom to pick up? Or if someone would act as a intermediary address in the UK.

I will pay for the item and for the freight so there will be no out-of-pocket expenses for you. Let me know if anyone is available.

Kind regards
Lionel

Hello All,

Apparently no one lives near Hassocks in the United Kingdom - place must be a ghost town...

Anyway, the seller did reply and postage has been sorted. Lucky for me!

Kind regards
Lionel

It might have helped to put a link or some more information. Personally, I have never heard of Hassocks and a quick Google turns up nothing but a village in Sussex. Glad to hear you got sorted anyway!

G'day Adrian,

Thank you for the reply and for the information.

I did use all the information that the seller advertised ... Hassocks - United Kingdom. . Luckily the seller contacted me back - 15 pounds for freight.

Oh well at least the engine will be able to make vroom vroom noises much easier now.

Kind regards
Lionel

Hi Lionel, £15 doesn't sound too bad. 👍

Hello Tankbarrell,

Yes - it is better than not having the part. The previous owner put in a hybrid mismatch of different systems from different manufacturers that had failed to work before I bought the vehicle. Going back to the original manufacturer's part will hopefully get the engine started as quickly and simply as it was designed to do.

One parts supplier actually wrote back and apologised for listing parts that were no longer available. They let me know that they have now updated their parts list and removed those listings.

Just hope the part works and solves the starting issue! Fingers crossed.

Kind regards
Lionel

Hello Graham,

Thank you for the reply Graham and for the kind offer. The part is on its way. It is on a race between it and the same part from New Zealand. If something is really hard to get in the first place then having a spare seems to be a good idea!

Kind regards
Lionel
