Mikle,
Thanks for those measurements. I'll have to make up some of those boxes. How many would the early style 1A2 setup use? Would it be two behind the operators seat and four to the rear of the radio?

I guess I answered my own question with the rest of the page that Mike posted. The "other than class A" HP units use four six volt batteries and two 240 volt batteries. On the early style 1A2 the four six volts go on the ledge to the rear of the radio and on the late style two of the six volts go on that ledge and the other two go between the seats. On both styles the two 240 volt batteries go on the floor behind the operators seat. Judging by the bolt holes in the floor of my 1A2 body the holder for these batteries is approximately 10" by 24". Does anyone have measurements for the 240 volt battery boxes? That's probably wishful thinking.

In the 11 set manual it says the 240 volt batteries are the same as used on the No 1 set. Here's whwt they say about the batteries in the No 1 set manual.
