M38 and M38A1 Parts Numbers

While I was in business we would find new parts numbers for items we wanted to buy from Napa or other local suppliers. This is the start of a list I have:

  • output bearing NSK 6307CM
  • Rad hoses gates upper 2006S lower 20364
  • Points CS725A,
  • Condenser AL 868,
  • Rotor AL104. AL means Autolite
  • 1953 Front Hub Bearings cone SKF BR18590 Cup SKF BR18520
I hope this helps someone !

M38A1 CDN1, 2 and 3

Just to throw a wrench into the list, there were three distinctive contracts for M38A1s. The CDN 1 contract for example didn't have an especially good turn signal installed, which was updated in the late 1970s post-introduction when the CDN1 and 2 vehicles were brought to one standard. The CDN 3 vehicles were closer to the commercial CJ5s with larger brakes.

Like I said I do have much more. I do have part lists for CDN 3s as well. For now I have just started off with M38 and A1s
