Someone at gunnutz posted this link as there were a lot of the older Cdn Forces firearms in it. Upon viewing, there are just as many of the Cdn military vehicles of the time. Time frame seems to have been filmed in the mid 70s. Lots of M38A1s, Deuces, Centurions, M113A1s,etc, some cammed and some still in their gloss green.

There are some US weapons as well, but for the most part, the movie is a neat snapshot of the time showing uniforms, radio setups, cam patterns, etc. It's worth a look to those with M-series vehicles of the era.

I remember when the scenes were filmed in Lahr as there were Cents and M113s on the main street just a few blocks away from where I lived.

The full list of cast and crew on IMDb also suggests Canadian connection. A well known Toronto stunt coordination Dwayne McLean handled the stunts and intriguingly a stunt player was G. A. Winnington-Ball. Any chance of a connection to MLU founder Geoff Winnington-Ball?

I think this movie was titled Coup d' etat and didn't make it to general release although I liked the M113 dozer knocking down the shack and the exploding Snowbird Another good movie is The 4th War with Roy Schieder. Lots of Cdn vehicles.
