Dear All,

I am in no way connected with these folks, but they are going to make our lives simpler, maybe they will do an M series version for the rest of the MV folks.

For us with Brit vehicles and more modern stuff this is a godsend and to anyone current serving a daily item just like a toothbrush I think.

I was, for a time, married to my cell phone, and decided to wean myself of it. Nowadays, I have to look for it if I am traveling and think I will actually need it. So to that end, this adapter would be virtually useless to me.

When I was in the military, I would spend up to a month or so living in either an APC, or in my later years, an MLVW. For creature amenities like cooking and heating, there were 24V items available. Favorites of mine were items that came from airplane galleys. For the MLVW, I ended up with a 24v to 12v power supply and purchased 12v appliances for the fridge and television/vcr combo. I still have the hotcups and 24v cooking pot, but am starting to feel I will never have to use them again.

As to the necessity of computers in the trucks, it did get that way towards the end. I remember having to use the parts discs on a laptop in order to disassemble the front of an HLVW (Steyr) engine out in the field. Even back then, things like the LAVs were coming with 125V outlets to power certain electronic devices.
