Well now that he seems to have it sorted and legal why not make a 1/1 scale replica.

There is no substitute for stupidity

I have read that an HMV owner in Oz was challenged by a constable for having an offensive weapon on the side of his MB Jeep. It seems he had the issue style AXE properly fastened to the body side - and someone took offence.

I know it is not in some nation's character, but there are occasions when rebutting an officious law enforcement officer's accusations in court. Letting the beat cop decide what is right and fair in society isn't always the best way for a free people to behave.

Unbelievable...
Sorry about that

Further to my axe on a Jeep story

This is on an M151 Jeep, but the idea is the same. Theft prevention, and the equivalent of putting a trigger lock on a firearm.

You read that where?
I can assure you that is crap.

Crap you say?

Nope it was here by one of the regulars mentioning an ANZAC Day parade in a small town. He (or a trusted colleague) had the interaction with a young female constable, and the only reason it was repeated, was the notion was so ridiculous.

Nonsense has no borders : In the «* Je me souviens «* ( i remember ) Province of Québec Canada you are prohibited to be on a public road if you have a turret ( Humvee , British Ferret ) or a gun mount ( MB - GPW - M38 , Scout Car and so on ) if you have a pintle mount / post / rail ( ancrage d’arme / armament mount ) . Welcome to the «* Belle Province «* .
