It must be made of solid gold.......

Same seller has an early CMP Ford up plus a Humber, but I can't say the prices do much for me. The open cab Dodge has a one piece screen, and the closed cab one has a civilian cab, so I'd expect the seller isn't particularly knowledgeable about these things. I've seen parabikes go for a couple of hundred pounds, but anyone asking thousands needs a reality check methinks. |

This is side effect of explosion of the WWII reenacting. I saw British WWII para helmet for $6,000.00 so I am not surprised by para bike for $3,000.00. Do not ask what is cost of the original US WWII M1C para helmet, not to mention earlier M2 model. Best regards C. :) |
i bet if i ask you 10 years ago you would have had a problem with $200.000 shermans
$22,000 MBs $5,000 german para helmets and so on... but all the stuff is going up and fast!!!! it may not be made out of gold but i bet he gets his price. remember lots of reeinactors dont have a place to put a CMP, or a MB. this would be great fro them. |

Yes, and so on... $8,500 -- normal e-Bay price for the original near mint WWII dated Denison Smock $8,000 to 14,000 -- normal price for US WWII para helmets which in 1950s were everywhere for $6,00 to 7,00. All shares and bonds are nothing if we compare the investment in the militaria at right time and at right place. Best regards C. :) |
Looks like I'm under insured
At those prices glad we kept all the stuff I bought surplus as a kid. But your right, what is any antique vehicle worth? What someone else is willing to pay. The same must be true of any "collectables". E-bay just opens up the market of those someones who are willing to pay.

its worth what the market will bear
