Fuse Box
Have you tried Vintagecarparts uk? Give it a google and you should come up with the right site (the dot com address). They had a number of old fuse boxes. You may get lucky. Hope this was some help?

That fuse box is hard to find, I have one on a restoration at present and in need of the cover, ended up making one. There is a similar one made by CAV with a Bakelite cover retained with a screw, used on some wartime British vehicles ,but still in production until at least the Sixties, they do come up for sale.
Here is one of the similar ones for sale at present, don't be put off by the white cover as they were made in black as well; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-CA...-/350605562313 |
Just for clarity, Des means the square black box on the left. I think they were also found in Leyland trucks, and Coles cranes.

Thanks for your interest, Guys - ended up getting the white one off Ebay (but not with the wire retaining clip cover type)

In Des's second picture we see an alloy gear knob. Anyone know where these were made?
