Deciphering my father's war records

Hi everyone I recently received a copy of my father's WWII war records and could use as much help as I can get in deciphering the code they use. I can't see why they would not include a copy of the meaning of all the shot forms they use, any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks for sharing these documents. They are great and a good thing to have. They reflect the reality of WWII.

On Tuesday at DND I had a Privacy Briefing that went over the fact that all personnel records of military personnel become public domain after an individual has been dead for twenty years.

Cheers!

Your welcome I wish more people would do this as well I started looking into our families history and found so many of my relatives have served in both world wars, My grandfather was in WWI as well as 12 great uncles, 4 gave their lives in the effort, My father and four of his brothers served in WWII, my uncle James was wounded badly but made it home, It's too bad that it's SO difficult to obtain WWII war records I would like to see all of my families records but if your not in the immediate family forget it!

Here's a picture of my father an his brothers:
