hi mike
a while back i saw a very similar pair of boots at a flea market, and the vendor told me they were r.c.a.f. i should have bought them, or at least taken a pic or two and we could have compared them to yours :bang: mike |
I believe they are called shoepacks. I have never gotten a clear answer of how common was their use. They aren't realy an overshoe, but an all weather boot. They were popular but rare I think, but there was a mixed reaction to then because of sweat being trapped in them. They are like current similarly styled boots and served the same purpose.
