CMP questions

Hello I have found this CMP truck, in Denmark. What i belive to be a CMP Ford F15A.

The owner claims, that he found it in Bavaria, where it earnd it's keeps as a snowplow, for many year, it most be one thats was left behind i europe after WW2. I have found out that , it's europerian build. The roof, back og the cab and the windshield, looks like it's modifed. The engine is swapped with a mercedes Diesel.

And i have a few questons;

Where in Europe is it build?
Can anybody tell me anything from this type plate?
Is the cab modified or a special cab?
What is the most normal faults, on this trucks?

Brynk,

Welcome to this forum! Is Brynk you first or last name?

The truck you presented above is a highly modified F15A. The truck has been narrowed, a diesel engine fitted and possible an automatic gearbox. See CMP in Austria for more pictures. It seems to be a well travelled truck!

Hope this helps,
Hanno

Hej

Brynk is a middle name? My full name; Rasmus Brynk Andersen.

The asking price is 2.370 USD or 1.750 EURO. Would you call that fair?

But there are always two sides of the sword.
The one side is that it's pretty modified, so modified i can't/wouldn't build it back.
On the other side, it's one of a kind and tellings another story, and therefore it scould be cept as it is.

Hej Rasmus (if I may),

What is a fair price? If you want to keep it in its modified form and it is running, it could be regarded as a fair price. As you say, this is too far modified to be turned back and it tells a story as it is now.

If you want to restore an F15A back to its orginal configuration, only some small parts might be reusable and in that case the price seems too much.

So in the end it depends whether you like it enough as it stands and if you want to spend the cash on it :thup2:
