Anyone recognize this part? It is attached to the rear of my British Mk 2 carrier from 1944. I need pictures and info to restore this parts and vehicle

Have you thought about grit blasting it and look for a TL number ?, it might just be something a logger or farmer attached.

What is this part? I have 3 screws for fasten some wodden part inside, and no hole at the rear end as in your picture. I will measure the dimensions in a few days. |

That truncated cone shape device is the rubber housing over the lamp socket for your rear facing light. The metal bracket you have been asking about creates a housing to mount and protect the lamp and switch assembly.
Your MK-II mortar carrier uses Single Pole wiring. That wiring diagram was previously posted to you on your FB page identification request. A similar original assembly is available from Stefan in NL at LWDparts.com |
