Where is the oil can opener (piercer) on the MKI* carrier ?
Better described as a can piercer, it is a device permanently mounted in combination with another item thereby serving a dual purpose.

Not for the reusable one gallon container, but for piercing "one time use" disposable, all metal cans. Cans similar to the attached image.

In the drivers seat?

cold

I wonder if it was a design that was retained from the original machines, with no reason to eliminate the dual function or purpose design. Given the stowage would include a reusable one gallon SAE30 oil container, there may be little call for opening one quart metal oil cans in the field.

Well Kevin, I don't follow. Can you wise me up on how the dip stick or DS holder could be used? :giveup

Well, no one got the point. Neither did I.
It was Stew Robertson who "pointed" it out to me. Hats off to Stew.
