dual 524 radio installation in M38A1

Hello Folks

I am looking for the 15 Oct 1969
Radio sets AN/VRC-46 and /or AN/GRC-125
Canadian Forces EME Manual
Installation Instructions
Electrical L 179/3

More specifically photos on Page 3, 14 and 26.

Other photos would be nice but are not essential.

I require these to make the special attachments for the MX-2799 Antenna Tuner. 5820-00-897-6356. AT-912 Antenna

The special attachments are
5820-21-849-3203 guard brush
5820-21-849-3202 base assy, antenna

If somebody happens to have these item for sale please contact me.

thanks

Eric

Derk Derin and I were out to the milsurp scrapyard today, and we saw dozens of the 21-849-3203 guards out there, many were NOS. Do you have a photo or drawing of the 3202 bracket you are looking for? With that many of the one half, we were likely looking at the other half.

bracket

Hello Rob

Unfortunetly the photos in my instructions are not clear as they are a copy of a copy of a copy etc. :( Which is why i am looking for certain pages.

From what i can make out the guard looks like the left corner antennae bracket (not the corner mount to the body) reversed with no holes in it other than for mounting it to the rectangular shaped antenna base and longer.

The other odd duck bracket is used for attaching the rectangular antenna base to the spare tire antenna mount.

I only need one of these brackets. Depending on which one i come up with first will help me decide on what side i will mount this antenna bracket.

thanks
Eric

m38a1 CDN2/3 radio CFTO

Hello

I have recently come across the 2 and 3 radio installation for the M38A1 CDN 2 and 3. It would also be the same set up for the M151A2 CDN.

Unfortunately I am unable to download the files to this site. Therefore will try on the OMVA FB Page.

Thanks Eric
