Looking For - Machinery M Plans
I'm wondering if anyone has plans for the CMP Machinery M body. I have the standard left side illustrations for the body type, but I want to see the configuration of the drop sides for a modelling project. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Chris,
Depending on your location in Ontario, there is a complete Machinery M Mark II (on the Ford chassis) at the Base Borden Military Museum that you could visit. Colin |

The CWM in Ottawa has a Diamond T Mach M on display in the Lebreton Gallery. The Mach M's stood a better chance of ending up in museums then most vehicles as they were specialized kits and some of the last of the wartime CMPs to be replaced by the SMP M211CDN in the early 1960s.

Ed, I believe the Diamond T Mach-M has been loaned out to the Lincoln and Welland Museum in Niagara. They had it on display the last two years at the Echo's of Niagara's Military History event held at Fort George.

That may be a future project for a Mirror Models Dizzy T cab and chassis.

Chris, Not plans but some good side on photos/renderings from a 1968/70 Bellona handbook on tank transporters, recovery vehicles and machinery trucks. Sorry photos not scans as my scanner is kaput.
