How many Chevrolet and Ford are restored today.

Hello Boys.
I have been following this forum for many years, I have made some contributions and I have noticed that it seems that we currently have more Chevrolet CMP and fewer Ford CMP in operation and restored.
What do you think?

Just a thought but Ford flatheads are expensive to rebuild and tend to have blocks that crack and are harder and harder to find. Then you need specialized distributors and points (or dummy up modern replacements) making it just that much more challenging.

Chev motors on the other hand seem to be easier to find and rebuild and the ignition parts are abundant. There is also plug in post war motors (235) that make Chevs easier to run.

Bruce
Thanks for your quick reply.
Now I understand the reason why I currently see more Chevrolet than Ford.
Regards!
