C'mon now, we've all had Ferrets with mystery jacks so we all know what he's talking about...

Hi David.

Welcome to the Forum. I am guessing you were so excited to get your first Post up and running you hit the send button before attaching the photo. Either that or the camo job on your Ferret is the best I’ve never seen.

David

This is the jack David has asked about.
Suggesting it is a CMP jack, the capacity and application is for others to comment on. :teach:

I have seen it along with another similar style, but heavier jack used to lift a carrier in one of the carrier manuals or hand books. (two jacks in one photo)

The Cdn parts manual does mention an Auto Specialties jack in the tools section, does it not? But the tonnage and height of this jack might dictate. As well it is not hydraulic.

David Cussins 19-04-20 22:12

Canadian jack

Retracted...9.5 inches......extended19 inches....has no.148 cast into sides....on the base it has sj-803-a....made in canada....auto specialties......painted with 532 ...must have been "barrowed" from ferret 54-82532....
