Thank you Mike for your valuable comment. I'll keep that in mind if I don't find the right solenoid.

I know this is a long shot but perhaps one of our informed readership could look at the attached photos and provide an opinion. This harness is about 16 feet long, has black cloth covering full length. It has three major features to it, the front portion with three sections of terminals... all of which are round holed tab type terminals, not spade terminals or plug in types.
Middle part has a couple of larger heavy duty style terminals.. and a single wire that splits off and is quite long.
And the rear section which has several connections of the plug in type terminal, and splits off to a multi terminal bit and then a longer two wire extension with bare wires ends.

While I hope its CMP I suspect it is not. It does not have many of the plug in terminals such as in the immediately previous post, except at the rear portion. It also seems too long unless it was for a long wheelbase truck. Any questions or thoughts on application? Maybe I have the orientation wrong?

Last photo above shows rear end (?) of harness. It has a multi terminal plug in type terminal section then splits into two other parts. One goes to more terminals the other part goes down to two bare wires, perhaps for tail lights?
Again, any thought on whether it might be CMP, perhaps Chevy?

Bob, the colours and tracer patterns don’t appear to be consistent with Chevy CMP vehicles.

Bob Phillips 13-11-23 02:32

OK thanks Jordan, I guess it would be too much to expect to just stumble across a nice NOS Chevy wire harness... but one can hope!
