metal thickness

Guys, I need to start making the fuel tanks, and am wondering what gauge sheet metal you use. I was thinking 19 g?
I also need to fab the rear deck plate, the one with 2 slots for the exhaust pipes. What thickness were these made from? Thanks in advance for all the help!

Dave, dont quote me but my findings thus far indicate that majority of the tinwork is 16swg, however Ben or one of the other lads may better advise re the tanks, as for the rear deck, Shaun has just made his so may be able to advise on thickness.
