Can anyone give me any info please on some of the Canadian R103 Reciever. I am looking for info on the antenna base and antenna. Also the battery box.
Any info would be great thanks |
Instructions and EMERs available from the VMARS group here:
http://www.vmarsmanuals.co.uk/archive/files_index.htm The radio itself has the power supply built in. It only needs 6 VDC to power the vibrator. The aerial looks much like an automotive telescoping whip. It has the lead-in built in and attaches to the vehicle body at two points. I can post a photo of mine if you need it. |

Dear Bruce,
Many thanks for the info on the R103. If you could post a picture that would be fine, Thanks Chris |

Here's the aerial and the connector. Radio oldtimers might recognize the connector as a popular mic connector used in the 1950s & 60s.
