6 Pounds of Oops

If only your 70 year old militaria collection could tell stories of where it's been. Some stories you don't want to know. :nono:

On F**T could stop Guderian in his tracks!

Moved to the Sergeant's Mess as this is where we can chat about feeling sore from collecting military memorabilia

Something stinks about his story. To have that happen you would not be wearing any clothing. I do not think I have ever been in my gunroom with no clothing.....it just isn't right.

Had a guy at work come in limping. He was taking a shower and slipped. He caught his big toe in the faucet hole where the water comes out for a bath. Wedged it right in there.....had to have his wife help extract it.

I guess this stuff can happen to anybody.....not to me. Or at least nobody is ever going to hear about it.

True story (and bloody well not me so don't even go there): son comes down to the TV room in the morning and sees credits to the move 'Zulu" still scrolling on the screen. There's dad snoring on the couch, scarlet tunic ala Rourke's Drift, Martini Henry at the ready (not sure about the bayonet but I expect one was present). When I say scarlet tunic I mean only the scarlet tunic....
