11.00-16 tyre?!?

At Beltring this year I noticed a tyre size I had never seen before. Shown below is a detail shot of a Dunlop Trak Grip 11.00-16 tyre. This must have been the size superceding the 10.50-16 (as with the 10.50-20 tyre), but did this happen during or after the war, I wonder?
