Need help identifying a trailer please!

Good morning,

I was wondering if any of you could help me identify this trailer that was recently given to me? It was purchased from a war surplus store in Montreal, Quebec by a gentleman who passed away in 1969. The tires were manufactured in 1952 but I can't be certain they are original. The name plate has Foreman Manufacturing Company with a serial number but no model number. I am looking to turn this in to a trailer for my Jeep and would like to get the brake mechanism working, hubs freshened up etc but not sure on what I actually own!

Thank you!

Just in case a few extra photos help.

The style of the Foreman Manufacturing ID plate makes me think of the old FWD fuel bowsers (body maker). This is based on memory, not documentary or photographic evidence.

I would guess it's RCAF as opposed to army. There does not seem to be any OD anywhere on it. We had trailers that somewhat mirrored the army trailers in Moose Jaw for holding spent fuel. They looked like an M101 chassis, but weren't.

Perhaps a look through the old manual of ECCs might bring it up...I'll have a look tonight if I remember.

Great, thank you. I appreciate whatever help I can get!

That's a cool find. You have a liberal licence to put a fuel/water tank, gen set, welder, or whatever on it to compliment your jeep.
