Happy new year
I feel better knowing I'm not the only boring bastard here doing nothing but drinking beer and sitting in front of my computer on new years eve. I see there is 77 members and lurkers here too.
So have a beer with me and toast the new year. :D Bloody hot today too, 45c degrees and windy. 2010 be gone! |
Happy New Year Ryan, and to all my friends in Australia, as I see it has just turned midnight on the eastern side.
Best regards to all, for 2011  |
Bed time
Now 12.45 and our guests have departed happy. Interesting to watch the fireworks in the city on TV finish then go outside to hear them for quite a while as the sound travels 20km or so.
Happy new year! |

Celebrated News Year Eve by driving CMPs
Hi
Started News Years Eve by watching the fire works over the Sidney Harbor on TV. Then got started on the day by taking two of my CMPs out and driving them around a little. Drove my HUP BEAST into the shop to begin a rebuild. This will be more of a rebuild than a restoration as the truck is in basically good condition just needing cleaning, painting, and replacement of seals and gaskets. Pictures to follow Cheers and Happy New Years Phil |
I must be getting old I was in bed by 22:00. Vicki is working today so we will have Mum over for tea tonight to celebrate the start of 2011.
Happy new year to all. :drunk: |
Calling the future
Hello to all you guys already living in next year. I'm still waiting for supper but it's nice to see all your fireworks so i can still get to bed early. Ha!
happy new Year!! |
And may I add a Happy New Year from the Atlanta, Georgia USA area.
Crazy weather here, we had our first White Christmas since the 1800s this year and now today it was 62 degrees F and predicted the same tomorrow. Gotta love Global Warming. Our sympathies to those in OZ that are suffering the Great Floods. All over the news here in the US and even looking at the New Years celebration in Sydney on the Tellie which certainly rivals or betters what we do here, our stations have been cutting away to the flood scenes. Let us all hope for an improved 2011, at least as far as the economy is concerned. Bill |
