Can any of the members tell me where I might be able to get the liner nut for a ww2 era British helmet. Please let me know.

NUTS....

Good day Mike

Are we talking the special large head screw and nut that holds the liner inside the helmet......???

I purchased a WW II helemet at Barrie last year.... it was complete when I got it..... but in the shuffle to carry it all day when I got home the screw/nut had fallen off( lining loose) and the screw/nut no place to be found.....

Do you have such spare fasteners....????

On another point..... what was the final autopsy result of the destroyed Jeep tranny..... how badly crushed was it??? did you trace it to a particular bearing...???

Hang in there.

Bob
