MEDIA ADVISORY: "86th Warriors Day Parade" at the CNE
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 16, 2007) - On Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 10:30am, the 86th annual Warriors' Day Parade will take place at the Canadian National Exhibition, commencing just outside the Princes' Gates.

This year's parade commemorates the 90th Anniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge. It is also a tribute to Canadian Veterans, and the "Wounded Heroes "of the September 18, 2006 bicycle suicide bombing in Afghanistan: MCpl Dwayne Orvis; Cpl. Denver Williams; and Sapper Mike McTeague.

The parade will feature a100-person tri-service (army, navy, air force) Guard, and military bands. Afterwards, visitors can go see the huge Military display set-up on the CNE grounds.
