Cool photo of a Chev Cab 11 next to a Chev Cab 12 Caption on back calls them Jeeps! March 42 and i think by the other Photo's in the album this was taken on the grounds of the CNE.

I think they may be Fords by the look of the grills and bumper bar
But a great picture!

To say the obvious, there are four guys there. I guess only two are friends?

Still, a great shot of early CMP's. Love the markings and civilian plates. Centre truck is a Ford (with GM axles) and right is a Chev.

they came out of an album of pictures of the same 2 guys in Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec city on a bit of a site seeing adventure (maybe brothers). All in uniform, changing of the very armed guard on parliament hill and a few photo's around the barracks like the one i scanned. I opened the picture in a program I could zoom in on the markings so maybe I'll figure out how to post those smaller images so you can read them.

What does anyone think the writing on the doors say?

Do you think it was something like "This vehicle donated by the townsfolk of Smithville" or something like that?
