Marston Matting x 4
 

4 x pieces of Marston Mats (Perforated Steel Planking) that must have been used at CFB Cold Lake as part of the 4 AER Rapid Runway Repair process. In relatively good shape for being ~70 years old....rusty, a little distortion but no kinks. I've seen these used in photos as sand planks on desert vehicles when cut down. Asking $150.00 each, located in Cold Lake, AB.

Eastern folks, I have a Honda 50 mini bike in St Catherines, ON I need brought out if someone is coming this way to anywhere in AB. Willing to trade some panels for shipping.

Peter I feel your pain in wanting to save them and to recoup some money.

I think any manufactured item has value, especially old stuff as we know it will never be made again. However there appears to be little to no need for some of these items.

I have two sections of the same material that I may drag to a local show this summer and see if they sell, if not they may get weighed in at the local scrap yard as I can not store everything forever in the tall grass storage area. It is the curse of getting old I fear.

Truer words have never been spoken Robin......I think we all have a number of "treasures" buried behind the shop, lol.

The good news is they are now sold and will be heading out to the west coast sometime this summer.
