Internet Web Services

BTW, I should mention that to run MLU and associated web sites (such as 1CACR, 49 APCR and TCP), I bought a huge block of web space the excess of which I subcontract out to others with similar interests at reasonable prices. Some of my "customer" sites are Mike Dorosh's http://www.canadiansoldiers.com/ , Garry Redmon's http://www.armorfortheages.com/ , Kurt Hollstein's abstract art site http://www.artimpasto.com/ and a Thai cooking site for the wife of a friend of mine at work, http://www.hgic.ca/.

If you're looking for web space, I can provide. The conditions are simple: better you have your own domain (I can assist you getting same if necessary), but if not, your site would have an address http://www.class-five.com/~yoursitename/; second, no porn, scams, spam, illegal software etc (duh...).

If you're interested in web space with great storage limits and bandwidth, email me with your requirements. Also, if you're setting up any kind of commercial site and require web development services, I can help you.

Cheers,

Geoff

Help with website

I would like first of all to congratulate you once again on the success of your site -and second to ask for your help in making mine equally successful.

I have a website www.tigermothenterprises.com -and I would love to have it as thoroughly cross referenced as yours is -but I am a computer neophyte and do not know how to do it.

Although my site (as you might guess by the inclusion of Tiger Moth in it) is partially aviation related -you may be aware that I served 9 years as an Army Officer, 5 prior to my 21 years of Regular Air Force Service, and four after retirement from that prior to returning to the AF for a final 5 years as a helicopter driver.

Also, I hosted an army-sponsored radio show "The Canadian Soldier" on CJBK in London over the winter -so you can see my army connection remains strong. Part of Tiger Moth Enterprises stock in trade is military consulting for movies and TV -which we also do for aviation -oriented works -just finished a BCATP TV series.

Anyway -any help would be sincerely appreciated -and if "buying in" to your site in some way would be helpful -please let me know how to do it. Your explanation was way too technical for me!

Regards

Jock Williams

Re: Jock

I've had a good look at your site... very well done, overall, but there are some observations I would like to make. I'll email you later today and let's discuss what you're doing and what you're looking for.
