Georgina Military Day Sat June 4th 10am-3pm
 

The Georgina Military Museum hosts its 8th annual Georgina Military Day on June 4th, 2016 at the museum on Woodbine Avenue just north of Keswick. Georgina Military Day is held annually in honour of soldiers past and present.
The event runs from 10AM to 3PM rain or shine and this year, to help defray expenses, we will be charging a token admission ($5) to the event - but as per usual admission and lunch is free of charge to those who exhibit a military vehicle. Those of you who have been here before know it’s already a well-attended and fun event.
This year we are honoured to have The Queen’s York Rangers Regiment return with their G-Wagon reconnaissance vehicle with several active servicemen. There will also be groups of military re-enactors, face painting for the kids, a silent auction, and more.
This is a great opportunity to turn out and thank the men and women in uniform for their service to the country, and to learn about the Georgina Military Museum and our efforts to educate the kids.
The active involvement and participation of those who exhibit military vehicles is central to our event. We deeply appreciate any efforts you have made to support us in the past and we always look forward to seeing you at the event.
If you wish to bring artefacts to sell, you are welcome to do so.
Space on our property is limited. We therefore request that you pre-book with us so that we can plan where your vehicle will be placed. If you have friends who might also care to join us with a vehicle please have them contact us.
