Gun trucks

I was wondering if in any other confilct other then Vietnam (American conflict) if gun trucks where used. Did they have guntrucks for the supply route in europe or in Korea (or anywhere else for that matter)? If so what nations / units ran them, what did they look like, what trucks did they use, ect...

Any pics would be great too. I have looked into this subject but haven't come up with anything as of yet, hope you guys can help.

AmmoColumn?

I'm not sure what you are looking for but in Korea I believe that the RCASC handled all the ammo runs for the field artillery units of the 1st Commonwealth Division. They used GMC duece and a half trucks. My understanding is that the GMCs were more powerful and reliable than the Bedfords of the other units and could handle the hills better.

Gun Trucks

I think the gun trucks you refer to are the armoured M35's fitted with .50 cals and the like. These trucks were first, as I understand, used only in anger during the Vietnam conflict. WW2 and Korea would still use the forerunner to this gun truck, the halftrack and white scout car.
