Studebaker US6 register

I've started the task of making a register of Studebaker US6 vehicles in Australia beginning with the vehicles which attended the Corowa event this year.

Studebaker register

It is in it's early stages and if anyone can help with either additions and IDs, please feel free to contact me. There are lots of these excellent trucks around in Australia due to the fact most were only assembled in the 1960s.

Hi Keefy

Here's ours at the Museum. Its Mike Cecil's old truck and currently under the last stages of restoration. I have heaps of before photos and am eager to get to the after photos.

Museum US6

Hi Keefy

Thought you would ask, got them today.
Serial No. on chassis plate 81879. Engine No. DK 1517364 with body built in 1945.

Are you coming to the Jamestown Airshow on the week-end of 18-19 Oct? At this stage we are taking up about 8 vehicles.

Thanks, Bob I've added the details and if you can manage a few images I'll put in a page of pics too. Here's the updated page
I'd love to be able to come to the Jamestown Airshow but will be at Temora filming air to air of the Spitfire and interviewing people such as George Hale (Meteor pilot who shot down a MiG - the F8 is painted in his scheme) and Bobby Gibbes, whose Spitfire is represented by the museum's Mk VIII.

Have updated the links page too - I notice you're updating the website - perhaps the logo can be changed to incorporate a real truck:D
